Prior to his own label, he was signed to Six Degrees Records, home to artists such as The Orb, Cheb i Sabbah, Karsh Kale, Michael Franti, Natacha Atlas and many others. They released 2 albums and 5 EP’s and his “Ascend” album was #7 on the iTunes world music chart and # 5 on the RPM and World music CMJ charts. David also released several “unofficial” remixes that reached #1 on the hype machine from artists such as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin that have become club standards.

He’s currently producing new material, touring for shows, running his own label and also busy with his side projects The Dub Kirtan All Stars (with music producer FreQ Nasty) and Star-Culture (with visual artist VJ Culture). Big things ahead for David Starfire!
